Do you want to work at Google?
Nowaday the surest way to land a job at Google is to do something that catches their attention and have Google acquire you.
We had already seen it happened to Writely. The latest (which may not be by the time I write this) is Gtalkr (see also list of sites ending with “r”) according to news from the horses mouth. TechCrunch spoke to Gtalkr founder and gained some insights.
The Gtalkr team, Dudley Carr and Wes Carr, now pursue new projects as Google employees.
Meebo perhaps has lost a chance. Or will Google do a MeasureMap again?
We already know that Sean, the developer of Gaim, works for Google on Google Talk.
Start thinking. What else does Google still need?
