That’s a challenge for alot of people isn’t it. Which is why people should team up. Which is why idea like opensource works.

but even here, time is a problem. I’ve been meaning to put down some ideas onto (digital) paper for a while now, and even haven’t found time to do that!
ah well, for now I’ll focus on finishing the rework of http://www.fantasylibrary.net and the new community weblog site that I’m working on. Finishing that last one will allow me to tick off a few of my ideas, as I’m programming a generic community weblog system which I will be able to use for several community weblog sites that I have in mind

It it not open source … yet.
I might open source it, I’m not 100% sure yet if I want to do that. I might publish parts of the code as open source. In this case, at least at first, I want to go for security through obscurity. If people can not read my code directly, they can not find security holes. Since I plan to open at least two sites running this software, or incarnations of this software, I don’t want crackers knocking on my doors every step of the way. And I’ll probably do a security audit somewhere along the way, but it might take a while for me to really open source it.
But it doesn’t have to be open source to share it with certain people I know in one way or another
