The buzz behind Google Checkout is still ringing since it was announced.
I went to check it out and was duly disappointed. Why? Because the service only support US users. No luck for international users.
Replacing Paypal? Not anytime soon.

The sign up page gives no clue to potential users that only US, Canadian and Indian credit cards seem acceptable to Google. Why offer a category “US and International” and balk the sign up simply because I can only give a European telephone number. More honest to up front that people with European addresses and telephone numbers are not welcome.
Really? Indian credit card.
Interesting that Google choose to support India.
