What can be more pleasing to a theme developer than people using it?
I came across a few sites using my K2 3 column scheme.
You are using the AdAdvantage K2 scheme. Leave a note!
The AdAdvantage K2 scheme has been updated to sync with files from K2 beta revision 360.
A major change in this release is the addition of blocks.
All my google ad codes and replace them with empty block file. These files are collected in the blocks folder instead of scattering about the k2 main folder.
To add your own ad blocks or other content, simply edit the corresponding block file. And it will appear where you want it.
To change position of the blocks, edit header.php, footer.php or sidebar.php.
Enjoy!
If you are not a software developer you might not have heard of the term code merging or tools like WinMerge.
In this post, you can see how I use Winmerge to merge my changes with the K2 svn and keep it in sync with the lastest development.
I want to share this because some people asked me about my AdAdvantage scheme update. Unfortunately I do not have the time to follow each svn update, but you could use this tip to help yourself. This is especially useful if the lastest version fix a bug in the version you are using.
