The AdAdvantage K2 scheme has been updated to sync with files from K2 beta revision 360.
A major change in this release is the addition of blocks.
All my google ad codes and replace them with empty block file. These files are collected in the blocks folder instead of scattering about the k2 main folder.
To add your own ad blocks or other content, simply edit the corresponding block file. And it will appear where you want it.
To change position of the blocks, edit header.php, footer.php or sidebar.php.
Enjoy!
(Actually, he is the real weekendblogger, I just blog on weekend.)
One thing I had learnt from maintaining a few blogs is that time is never available when you need to write a post.
When you have not blogged for a few days and felt you need to put in an entry, you have no time.
When you have time and wanted to write a post, you think, “I just did this morning, save it for another day“.
9rules consider consistency as an important trait of a good blog. Some think that daily blogging is a bad idea. To me a regularly updated blog feels flesh and shows effort.
One method that I found effective is to just write when I have the time and save then as draft. So in the weekend when I have a little more time, I write as many entries as I can. Some complete, some partial. These serve as my ammo when I need to get a post out.
Is scheduled post a good idea? Should blog post be instantaneously published?

Following the refocus of this blog to present a more personal account, here is a glimpse of what keep me occupied.
- 8am start of a new day
- 9am - 6pm day job, in between managing staffs, client meeting and supplier negotiation - surf the net, finding new ideas, update blog
- 8pm - 3am home, online time, work on blog and other online projects
- 11pm - 12am family time
Can I have more hours?
As I was going into my Yahoo Mail (a few times a week affair), lo and behold!
Finally, after months of waiting to try it after reading about it on Jeremy Zawodny’s blog. That was in September 2005. PCMag already did a review back then.
My first impression, impressive! The user interface sure beat Google’s GMail by miles.
The RSS reader as mentioned by TechCrunch is very useful. I do not read RSS much because of the hassle (yes I know, it’s only me). Integrating RSS with the email reader is a perfect solution.
One thing sorely lacking in GMail is a good usable address book. Google Calendar also has some catching up to do.
But for one thing and one thing only I sticking to GMail - GMail allows me to reply using different identity. I had all my mail consolidated in GMail and reply to them using identity. It’s a breeze.
