Crowdsourcing

It has been a long time since I discover idea words.

Today idea word is crowdsourcing. Interesting, let’s break it down a little.

sourcing – out sourcing
crowd – the masses

What happened when you create a model that outsource to the crowd? You get Cambrian House and a Wired article.

Wired, it seem, is a furtile ground for coining words. Didn’t the long tail started at Wired as well.

The sense behind Adsense.com

You would think Google owned adsense.com, but no, it was owned by a business whose name is Adsense Consulting.

You would think that adsense.com put Adsense ads, but no, Google did not approve the site for Adsense.

You would think that Google would buy the domain from them, but no, Google refused an offer to sell the domain.

Make sense of that…
